why do all these fanfic writers think that Rodney McKay is BLOND????
it is really weird to spend months and months and months reading almost exclusively british fanfic to suddenly shift and read loads of north american fanfic, and then to be totally thrown off-course when it turns out a good chunk of the NA stuff is actually being written by a british person who slips up and uses the word “arse” in the narration.
