This tumblr is a jumble of lots of things, mostly just stuff I like. This includes, but is not limited to, Deep Thoughts on Harry Potter, Star Trek, Merlin, Pete & Pete, lots of other movies and tv and theater, various online fandom nonsense, NSFW hot people and porny things, mythology & folklore, webcomics, fashion, arts & crafts, sweetsauce Rock & Roll, adorable kittens, otters, and other cute animals, fun with graphics and photoshop, desktop wallpapers, personal and feminist rants, and links to interesting stuff mostly cribbed from Metafilter.

Yes, I get paid to watch anime. I am a quality checker and once in a while editor of anime subtitles, mostly simulcast shows with the occasional dvd release or movie. If I like a show I’m working on, I’ll probably talk about it, but I don’t do spoilers. I often ship silly things and nonsensical yaoi pairings and reblog fanart for fun, but I swear that my shipping preferences have no bearing on the actual subtitle translation. I am essentially a glorified spell checker and “is this joke funny in translation?” person. The shows I work on change every season.

If I haven’t specified that I made something, I probably didn’t, and you can probably find out whoever did by clicking on the image or link itself, because I try to attribute that way most often.

You should probably have figured this out by now but I’m pretty weird. A fairly good indicator of my general me-ness is the image I use for my icon. Yeah, I spent time on that.
