During the pilot episode my BFF made me stop crocheting and pay attention because “the guy who is going to be your favorite character is coming on-screen” and then this mousey Czech dude named Zelenka shows up. And I was bemused and enjoyed it but didn’t so much as remember his name.
And then three episodes later it was like, dammit, BFF, you of course know me too well, and yeah, Zelenka’s amazing.
And now we’re, um, I think we’re four seasons in? (Teyla is preggers! Sheppard’s dad just died! Jewel Staite stopped being a wraith baby and became a hot blonde doctor!) And Zelenka is HANDS DOWN my favorite character. I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT HIM. I desperately want him to find love. He needs to get laid! And he should be able to keep Atlantian pigeons or something! And he will fuck your shit up! And he is super cute! And he is super smart! And he is super mean sometimes, but only in adorable ways! And I LOVE HIM OKAY LEAVE ME ALONE
