why am i one of four native english speakers who knows that “dispair” is not how that word is spelled???

Ugh. Hate that typo! Also the myriad ways I see people spell ‘definitely’, mixing up then/than, ‘would of’, and the FLAGRANT IGNORANCE OF SUBJUNCTIVE MOOD. When people say ‘I wish I was…’ I have to grit my teeth.
