I’m sort of kind of contemplating signing up for the paperlegends big bang challenge, as an ARTIST. Thing is, I can’t really draw people… so I could make graphics, but I’d rather do my weird, abstracty, motif-oriented sort of stuff… and IDK IDK IDK

If you write Merlin fic and you were writinga  big huge story for the big bang and you got paired up with an artist who didn’t actually want to draw any of your CHARACTERS but would prefer to draw, say, a stained glass window or a burst of magic light or a landscape, would you be distraught?

I am reblogging myself because I am shocked; these graphics have really GROWN on me, despite knowing they are kind of deliberately ugly I kind of really LOVE them which I was not at ALL expecting.

I think I’m undergoing an aesthetic shift, actually. Will have to keep an eyeball out for that.

Will also have to take a whack at doing some other characters in a similarly gothic brut faux screenprint early 90s digital way and see what comes up, at least Merlin, maybe more, depending. hrmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
