IDK that McKay’s cutiemark would be a planet. I think it would be something more fundamental to physics. Maybe an 11th dimensional hypercube? They’re purty. Although I can’t remember if they decided that string theory was applicable to stargates or not. Maybe just an ancient crystal, then. Or a FRUITCUP, hahaha~

I like that he has short hair though! Long flowing locks would just in the way of his doing Science! you know? Science! waits for nopony!

It’s all glued in and finished!

11 different paper types were used and hand-cut, and the circular design is based off a motif in one of the stained glass pieces in Celestia’s hall. Celestia’s sun and Luna’s moon make up the top and bottom motifs. I put in that detail shot so you could see how the paper sparkles. :’)

That’s the awkward thing about displaying paper works; it’s never the same in photos as it is in the flesh.

Now, Firefly had curly hair so she was really cool but Tickle had RAINBOW hair and I learned how to braid on her tail, by separating it by color! And Night Glider was covered in SPACE which was magical and Posey had PINK hair which was Very Important and Blue Belle had STARS and she also looked really shy which I also was.

I didn’t ever know any of their names though. I think I called Tickle “Rainbow Princess” and I know that I called Firefly “Bolty” which is kinda badass in retrospect.

Okay so in October I went to my parents’ house for a week for pretty much the sole purpose of going through everything in the whole house and being all “send me this stuff in a box, chuck everything else out.” or “Put all this stuff in storage up in the barn in Maine and I will see it again when you guys are dead.”

Part of this culling process involved finding my My Little Ponies and choosing which ones to keep. It turns out I didn’t have many left (or maybe I never had many to begin with?) but NOW I HAVE A BOX OF MY LITTLE PONIES, THEY SHOWED UP TODAY! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Now I have to go on the MLP wiki and figure out which ones I actually have and ~wash them~ and ~brush their hair~ eeeeeee

Haha, sure! I don’t know that any of the Trek ponies I slapped together actually *had* any photoshoppery on them, though; I think that they are entirely screencaps from the pony maker thingy.

Everything on my tumblr is ALWAYS available for people to repost or reblog or slap around where they see fit as long as the original credit is included. Most of the time if it’s not mine and it’s not a reblog, the image is embedded with a link that is its source. There’s no need to ask as long as you include that sort of stuff. :)
