SO MUCH WORK TO CHURN THROUGH. Just finished up Sket Dance - episode 45’s pretty cute you guys, but it’s chock full of incomprehensible puns. Our translators & editors REALLY tried their best. Next up is Black Rock Shooter, which, while a GORGEOUS show, really seems to be trying too hard, I think. I wish it was… gentler, almost. Makes me miss that one by the LAIN dude with the angels? god, what was it called??? This is gonna bug me. Anyway. Then Shakugan no Shana which just has the most ridiculous case of Name-Proliferation-Disease I have ever witnessed, and then Vanguard - with a Kamui fight that continues on into the next episode! So SOMEBODY will be happy about that, although I promise I’ll pay attention to how “complete” of a fight it is and let you know if you should or should not get your hopes up, okay??? I’m sorry about the last time, I thought being complimented by the big dude would have been pleasing enough. Anyway. Then there’s a show I’m EDITING for dvd release, a shounen highschool interpersonal romance drama thing that I have to get cracking on.

OH MY GOD MY BRAIN IS GONNA MELT. Only tea will get me through this. I wish I had a cat or a dog for cuddles, but noooooooooooooooooooooo~

Oh my god, right? TEA ALL THE TIME. I can’t stop! Plus it’s free, disney-themed tea that we got from my roommate’s voice-actor uncle. You can really taste the whimsy.

I loved tea since I was a wee child, because it was Different. I am sure if I’d be born in a tea drinking country I would have hated it but to me, contrary AND an anglophile seemingly since BIRTH, tea was a special, non-offensive, “unique” sort of request that had fancy associations like chinese food and victorian dollhouses and getting to be coddled by my mom when i was sick with a sore throat. It made me feel ~cool~ I guess?

so you know when how you feel like you’re dying from the inside out, nothing is particularly painful but everything seems dim and you can’t be assed to get the hell out of bed or off the computer, even to do shit like make yourself a cup of tea, and everything’s drained of color a little bit and you’re itchy but why would you bother scratching your nose because it’ll just itch again in a second, and you really should be writing or working on the seventy billion projects you’ve made for yourself but all you can really do is keep reloading tumblr and metafilter to see if there are any new posts?

and then you stand up to go pee finally and you leave the bathroom and turn right into the kitchen instead of left back to your room and you make yourself that cup of tea and caffeine and tannins and sugar rush through your veins for the first time in two days and OH GOD, LIFE! FUNCTION! PUNCTUATION!
